Lincoln College's new Digital Academy, run in partnership with Microsoft and Risual Education Ltd, aims to boost digital skills across IT, Digital Marketing, Software Development and Cyber Security.
The Academy has been launched as a direct response to skills shortages identified by Greater Lincolnshire employers and will offer secure and lucrative careers for apprentices of all ages. Developed in partnership with Risual Education, a Microsoft gold partner, the Academy is a unique
opportunity to develop connections between industry and education and solve the digital skills shortage in Lincolnshire.
David took up his position as Key Account Manager at Lincoln College Group in October 2017 working within the Apprenticeship Sales and Recruitment Team. With the introduction of the Apprenticeship reforms placed upon the industry in April 2017, David was brought into the team to provide focus, drive and a clear communication process for all employers wishing to take up the new apprenticeship programmes on offer. Having gained 16 years’ experience within the Welfare 2 Work sector as a Business Manager and Employment Consultant David has a wealth of education and recruitment experience to draw upon when working with employers to provide guidance through the ever-changing apprenticeship landscape.
We are delighted that David is coming to talk to the Digital Lincoln group about the new Digital Academy as well as share his views on the benefits of building closer ties between the local digital sector and education. As always there will be plenty of time for socialising with like-minded people along with drinks and pizza provided by our kind sponsor, the Lincoln Science and Innovation Park.
We hope you can join us.
